Free Holiday Cleaning Printable And A Giveaway!!

Christmas is my favorite time of the year. Family get-togethers, carolers, snow ball fights, and don't forget the smell of fresh pine needles and hot coco filling the air. However, with all the joys of Christmas there are also many messes. If your hosting a holiday get-together, the added stress of cleaning your home and keeping it clean throughout the holidays can quickly become a nightmare.

This year I've joined with BLACK+DECKER to bring you some smart cleaning tips, a free 10 day cleaning printable, and a giveaway!

This 10 day cleaning printable will get your house in tip top shape before your guests arrive. There are extra spaces in each section to add your own cleaning items, as well as two extra boxes at the bottom for any other areas in your home that may need cleaned.

While getting the house prepared for guests can be a pain, the real challenge comes in keeping the house clean after the guest arrive. Below are my two top tips to keeping a clean home with guests, as well as links to my favorite products that get the job done.

Spot Vacuum - Pine needles, crumbs, pet hair, and dirt will build up quickly in a house full of people. However, trying to maneuver a huge vacuum around your guests can isn't that easy. Purchasing a small cordless vacuum such as this SMARTECH Cordless Lithium 2 in 1 Stick Vacuum from BLACK+DECKER can be a life saver. I love that I can easily pop off the hand held vacuum for small messes or leave it attached to the stick vacuum to easily clean up larger messes. I also don't have to worry about guests tripping over the cord while it's out. The compacted size is perfect for tucking in the coat closet so it's within easy reach (If you want your own SMARTECH Cordless Lithium 2 in 1 Stick Vacuum be sure to scroll to the bottom of the page to enter the giveaway!!)

Clean Up Spills Quickly - Spills left unattended can quickly turn into a sticky mess. Keep paper towels within easy reach for quick clean up. For an even easier solution check out this Compact Cordless Lithium Hand Vacuum also from BLACK+DECKER. This compact hand vacuum can clean up dry and wet messes. When your done, just empty and rinse.
